About Olio

Olio is Norway's fifth largest skincare chain, developed in collaboration with Askeladden & Co. We opened our doors in 2019 and today have 12 salons in Greater Oslo and Bergen, as well as 50 fantastic employees. We have a proven concept that will now focus on growth both nationally and internationally.

The ambition behind Olio was to offer a better customer experience by making it easy and accessible to book quality treatments in skincare, laser, injections, manicures, eyebrows, lashes and waxing at a reasonable price. Focusing on quality and professionalism for the customer, and security and development opportunities for our employees, has been crucial for the company to reach the exciting scaling phase we are facing today.


About the role

As CEO of Olio, you will be responsible for developing and leading the company towards overall goals related to development, scaling and raising capital. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the company's daily operations and development, and work with a wide range of disciplines and issues. You will be the cornerstone for the growth of the company, focusing on building and developing strong independent teams and organization.

As CEO, you will have overall responsibility for developing and implementing a strategy with a focus on value creation and attractiveness towards a possible exit. A key part of the role will be to create growth opportunities for the company through strategic partnerships and agreements. As the company's foremost ambassador, the role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with investors and stakeholders, and communicating the company's ambitions and potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and implementing an overall company strategy with a specific emphasis on growth and profitability.
  • Leading a diverse team, with a focus on exploring new business opportunities, fostering collaboration, and ensuring high quality throughout all processes.
  • Identify, evaluate and realize new initiatives that positively impact the company's growth and development.
  • Coordinate and execute fundraising activities and maintain solid relationships with investors and partners.
  • Represent the company as an official spokesperson, effectively communicate its values and goals, and contribute to the branding of Olio.
  • Have primary responsibility for the company's P&L and ensure that growth and profitability targets are achieved in a planned manner.

The management team at Olio currently consists of the CEO and COO, where the COO is responsible for the operational management of the company and the salons. In the role, you will have the opportunity to become part of a united and innovative entrepreneurial environment in Askeladden & Co, and you will work closely with your Lead Partners from A&CO's partner group.


About you

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience within one or more of the following:
  • Run and managed one or more growth companies
  • Leadership role in one or more growth companies (CEO, CCO, COO, etc)
  • Background from top-tier management consulting (preferably having worked with DD, M&A and been involved in and led processes related to sales/acquisitions)
  • Experience from PE or VC or PE- or VC owned companies

Regardless of your previous role and workplace, you have the following experience:

  • Scaling and expansion
  • Leading and developing teams with clear goals and ambitions
  • Owning P&L
  • Project management
  • Building strong relationships with investors, stakeholders and potential owners and acquisition companies
  • It will be an advantage to have driven and led similar processes that have resulted in successful exits
